1. The Draft Ledger at regtechconf.com is an independent, informational site. It reviews tools and explains editorial process. It does not sell writing, editing or any other service.
2. Readers will find no accounts, store, payments or newsletter on regtechconf.com.
2a. This policy applies to regtechconf.com alone. Tool vendors, video platforms and partner marketplaces we link to publish their own policies, and those govern your data once you leave.
2b. Where this page says “we” or “us”, it means the operator of regtechconf.com.
Personal data and correspondence
3. Writing to us happens through one channel, the form on our contact page. It requests your name, email address and message.
4. We use this information to respond and for no other purpose. No email address is published, and we delete messages once a conversation has run its course.
5. Please do not send unpublished manuscripts, client drafts or confidential documents through the form. We do not need them to answer a question.
Cookies, analytics and video
6. Non-essential cookies stay off until you accept them through the consent banner. You are free to withdraw acceptance later from the same banner, or to clear cookies in your browser.
7. Accepted analytics cookies belong to Google Analytics and give us aggregate readership numbers, nothing tied to your name. We use those numbers to judge which reviews and workflow guides are worth updating.

Commissions
9. The site earns affiliate commissions, mostly from Fiverr. Affiliate links pass through internal redirects such as /go/editor before reaching the partner.
10. The partner sets its own cookies and is governed by its own privacy policy and terms. You pay no extra for a purchase made through our links. See the disclosure for particulars.
10a. The redirect step displays no form and collects nothing you type. Briefs, sample texts or style guides you share with a freelancer after arriving at Fiverr are handled under Fiverr’s rules. Strip confidential client material from them first.
11. We sell no reader data to anyone. Our web host and Google process small volumes of technical data while the site runs. Disclosure to authorities happens only where a legal duty applies.
Editorial standards
12. AI tools assist with drafting. A human editor reviews every article before release, checking facts and tone. Reviews of AI writing tools reflect the version tested, and vendors change features and plans without notice.
13. Treat our content as general information. Nothing here is tax, legal, financial or professional advice, and no writing or productivity result is guaranteed.
Rights and minors
14. You hold rights of access, correction, deletion and objection, plus the right to withdraw consent and to complain to a data protection authority. Exercise them through the contact form.
14a. A request works best when it names the right in question and the email address used in earlier correspondence. Access yields a copy of the message record. Correction amends it. Deletion erases it. Objection halts the use you object to. Withdrawal of consent turns analytics off from the moment you change the banner setting.
15. California residents: personal information collected here is not sold, and it is not passed along in exchange for payment.
16. The site addresses adult readers. Children under 13 are outside its audience, and so are those under 16 in places with a higher legal age. Any child’s message we identify is deleted. A parent or guardian who believes a child has written to us is welcome to say so through the contact form, and we will act on it.
16a. Reasonable technical safeguards protect the site and the messages it receives. Access to submissions is restricted to the people who answer them.

17. Governing law is whichever law applies at the operator’s place of establishment.
